As many of you know, on Saturday we lost a dear and faithful member of our church family, Larry Albright. His influence, love, friendship and example impacted countless lives over the years. He will be greatly missed by all. We will be having a funeral service here at the church on Tuesday (the 24th) at 11:00 am. There will also be a time of visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the church on Tuesday, and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home in Tyrone.
While our hearts are heavy because Larry is no longer with us, they are also filled with joy to know that he is with the Savior he loved so much and served so faithfully all his life:
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” (2 Tim. 4:7-8)
