Ministries we support:

ELM (Every Life Matters) provides much needed pregnancy support services in Blair County.   From the website: “ELM was founded in 2010 and has been providing hope and support to women and men facing unplanned pregnancies ever since. Our goal is to show individuals that they are not alone on their journey.

Our center provides free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds and support services like prenatal and parenting classes, as well as options education to help individuals make confident, educated decisions about their pregnancies.

ELM is able to provide free services to those who need them, thanks to our supportive community. We will never charge for our services or require any person to report their visit to their insurance agency.”

The Gideons.  From the website: “The Gideons International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through associating together for service, sharing personal testimony, and by providing Bibles and New Testaments. While we are often recognized for our work with hotels, we also place and distribute Scriptures in strategic locations so they are available to those who want them, as well as to those who may not know they need them.”

Samaritan’s Purse: Operation Christmas Child.  From the website: From children to seniors, people pack shoebox gifts each year to bless children in need around the world. Parents often use the project to teach their kids about giving. Year-round volunteers support these efforts across the country. You can watch inspiring videos that describe this important ministry here.

2018 was our first time getting involved in this wonderful ministry and we were blessed to package and send over 60 shoe boxes.  We hope to build on that in the years to come.

 

Camp Blue Diamond.  Camp Blue Diamond is a local Church of the Brethren camp.  From the website: “Located in Central Pennsylvania near State College and Altoona, Camp Blue Diamond (CBD) is a year round Christian camp and retreat center affiliated with the Middle PA District of the Church of the Brethren. Located within Rothrock State Forest, CBD is 238 acres of hemlock, pine and oak forest, with a clean & clear stream fed lake running through the center of the property.”

In addition to financially supporting the camp we also raise funds to send children from the community to camp free of charge.
