Our Vision
In accepting the Great Commission as a valid command by Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:16-20), Tyrone Church is committed to: Making disciples of Christ by boldly proclaiming God’s Word and training people to live in a devoted and faithful relationship with Jesus Christ in order to grow spirituality and reach the lost with the Gospel.
Our Mission: “Sharing the Savior”
Put Simply, our central mission as a church is to share the Savior (the Lord Jesus Christ).
First and foremost, “sharing the Savior” refers to sharing the good news about Jesus with the lost, in the hope of leading them into a saving and life changing relationship with Him. In other words, our primary mission is to be witnesses for Christ (Acts 1:8).
Second, “sharing the Savior” refers to our shared activities as a worshiping fellowship of believers. We share the Savior with each other in the way we love, support, encourage and challenge each other in an ever growing experience of knowing and loving Jesus.
“How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
‘Your God reigns!'”
