Dr. Alan Cairns writes, “The [person] who cannot overcome the difficulties of prevailing in the place of prayer will not overcome any difficulties of any significance in any other part of his life. The person who does not learn to pray does not learn to live. The church that does not learn to pray will be of precious little use in whatever it does for God, however highly organized or talented.” (from “Closet Praying”). Remember that our Growth Group meetings will alternate with prayer meetings on Tuesday nights. Next Tuesday (10/31) will be our next Growth Group meeting.
