Tyrone Church of the Brethren

We continue with our “Stars” children’s program that meets during the adult service on Sunday mornings.   The “Stars” theme is based on Philippians 2:14-15,

“Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.”

Going along with our “Stars” theme, the “Stars” room is decorated to resemble a movie theater.  We are presently using the Orange curriculum.

There are lots of fun activities, songs and incentives that reinforce the lessons.  “Stars” is for children in 1st  to 6th grade.  Children in 6th grade and up can function as “Ushers” who take on a leadership role and help the adults in running the program.
